Dream Structures

I am an artist originally from Monterrey, and I have dedicated my career to bringing art into public spaces, where the unexpected comes to life.

In Dream Structures, I transform Monterrey’s Cuauhtémoc Station into a space for reflection, pause, and imagination. The exhibition begins with a simple but powerful idea: our everyday activities, almost without us noticing, form the subtle yet essential structure of our dreams. Just as the metro lines connect the city, our daily routines guide us toward what we long for. Within the most ordinary moments—waiting on the platform, rushing to work, or returning home—we find the foundations of our dreams.

I conceived this permanent art installation as a journey into the imagination, where each piece functions as a dream map that reveals our aspirations. My works conceal words such as “joy,” “strong north,” “dream more,” “Monterrey,” and many others within lines and curves that transform the invisible and the everyday into something possible and inspiring. Through these works, I want to remind us that imagining is a deeply powerful act—one that can happen anywhere and should remain present at all times.

This exhibition celebrates my pride in being from the north, the power of imagination, art as a spark of inspiration in daily life, and the idea that, with a simple moment of attention, we can transform our day.
